| SI-Wiesbaden,
Germany In May 2008, SIWDC partnered with SI-Wiesbaden, Germany to help support their "Berlin Airlift Project". An exhibition is being planned about the "Luftbrucke", the plane that the American Airforce used to arrange the delivery of food and supplies from Wiesbaden to Berlin during the Soviet Blockade in 1948. Corinna Heumann spearheaded an effort to help provide SI-Wiesbade, Germany with docmented information that is housed in the National Archives. A celebration will be held on June 28 in Wiesbaden to commemorate the event. All are invited. In exchange for the assistance of SIWDC, the Wiesbaden club will donate to "rebuilding Together of Washington DC", a project that is very important to SIWDC.
